Video: One Owner 1989 BMW M5 with Hits 400,000 Miles

Untitled
The first generation M5 is even to this day, one of the rarest, most interesting M-cars to ever be released by BMW.

And having such a car with over 400,000 miles, all put on by the original owner is a feat that beggars belief. But luckily for us, the car afficionados over at Petrolicious were able to track down just such a man — Randy Balingit-Hartmann has owned his BMW M5 since he purchased the car new in 1989. Since then, as we mentioned above, he has put over 400,000 miles on the odometer.

In 1989, the car Randy bought was actually the very first M5 ever sold in San Diego, California. According to Randy, he has had almost no technical problems in the 400,000+ miles he has put on the car. The car does have a few slight modifications to it, but Randy is looking to return the car to factory specification now that he is reaching his senior years.
