Hamann Guardian Evo

Hamann’s second release of the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show will be this, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo-based Guardian Evo. Performance enhancements, aerodynamic components and a stronger sports brake system have all been installed as well as larger wheels and a number of other cosmetic components.

The Cayenne gains an extended front apron with larger air inlets, integrated additional daylight running lights as well as LED fog lights. An ultra-light carbon bonnet has been fitted with a “power dome” for optimal ventilation. Wing extensions and new side skirts extend the car by an impressive 120 millimeters at the front axle and 160 millimeters at the back. A new rear apron with an integrated diffuser provides the room for two central stainless steel end pipes.

By fitting a sports silencer, sports catalysts, sports air filter and an optimized engine map, a performance increase to 550hp at 6,100rpm was possible. Torque rises to 770 Newton meters at between 2,300 and 4,600rpm. Performance figures for the modified Porsche Cayenne are 0 to 100km/h in only 4.6 seconds a top speed of 300km/h.

Hamann have fitted a ceramic sports brake system developed with brake specialists MOV´IT. Brake discs measuring 420x40mm (in the front) and 380x32mm (in the back) are clamped by six front piston calipers and four rear piston calipers.

Ultra-light 11Jx23 inch rims Unique Forged alloys have been applied. These fit Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres sized 315/25 R23. A suspension adaption has been developed especially for the Cayenne´s air suspension allowing the car to be lowered by up to 35mm.

As ever, Hamann will cater for any taste when it comes to interiors!
