The Fiat 500 is a real success for the Italians. It’s small, good looking and doesn’t cost too much. There’s even a solution for people who want one but need more power under the hood. They can purchase an Abarth version. But German tuner Hamann wanted more. They gave the little Fiat’s 1.4-liter turbocharged engine an output of 265bhp together with 348Nm of torque.
The 500 Largo’s sprint time and top speed aren’t known yet, but they will probably easily cross Abarth’s figures. Besides the powerboost Hamann also created a new front bumper with LED daytime running lights, side skirts, a huge diffuser, 18 inch matt-black wheels and a four fold exhaust system probably producing a very nice sound for a mini car.
265hp? that’s insane for a little fella like this. you’re gonna be flying above the highways with this thing :)
Price tag?
@ Giszmo: prices aren’t release either, probably coming together with the other figures which we hope to find out soon!
Anything to estimate?
20,000? 30,000?
Knowing a 500 is yours for about 11,000 euro, a full option Abarth SS can be yours for 20,000 I think…
So the package might go up to 30,000 indeed.
30,000 isn’t worth it imho.
Get a Golf VI GTI for the same price.
I think it’ll be a bit more than 30000€. Hamann is quite expensive!
And yes it’s overpriced but a Mini is overpriced too and it sells well.
This Ferrari edition with 160bhp is over 35,000€.
Nuts! For such a tiny car.
Isn’t that Ferrari Edition having 180 bhp?
You are right, Steven.
180bhp.
Take out the stickers on the side & hood and my mother would fall in love with this little 500
