Following filming for the first of a new Top Gear series, an excited Top Gear audience member made the following revelation…
TOP GEAR AUDIENCE MEMBER:
“I was at the top gear recording earlier on today for the first episode of the new series, and the Stig was revealed to be… Michael Schumacher!! this was very unexpected, but totally believable in the end. His full unmasking will be shown on BBC 1 on saturday at 9pm in the UK! attached are a few shots of his FXX which he was putting around the track. The rest of the episode is a interview with schumacher, a hot lap in the lliana and a race between a steam engine, a bike and a 1940’s jaguar.

Do we believe him? Well, not really. We reckon there’s something going on here… We’ll wait until Sunday’s episode to see what it could possibly be.

I heard that Top Gear will be also showed on BBC World but I just wanna get sure!
Ohh and I also don’t think that The Stig is Mr. Schuhmacher!

well i am in london uk and i am watching top gear as i type…..and indeed schuey is the stig!
Confirmed. Just watched it and I absolutely loved it, and apparently, Schumacher is the Stig.
Though, this bears for contention. Notice what Clarkson said at the end? How Schumacher wasn’t? Maybe they just did it as a: 1/ stunt to boost the show, 2/ way to get people of their back.
There has been huge coverage and people spying to try and get a glimpse of the “real” Stig over the past years (I go biking not very far from the track, and notice a lot of people there), maybe this is just meant to ease the whole process?
IMO this Schumi stunt was done for two reasons
1 – for the people who constantly ask who he is/speculate about it
2 – get an FXX on the show, as i doubt Ferrari would allow anyone other than Schumi to drive an FXX around the track
