Maserati GranTurismo Convertible

Maserati GranTurismo

From the moment the Maserati GranTurismo was shown to the big public, in Geneva last year, the question left was ” when is the convertible coming?” This week Maserati announced that they will present the convertible in 2009 and probably again on the Geneva Motorshow.

The convertible GranTurismo will be based on the previous-generation Spyder. That will probably have a positive influence on the sales-figures that are rather good past 2 years. In 2006 Maserati sold 5714 cars, rising to 7353 cars in 2007 and an anticipated 9000 in 2008. The target is 12000 vehicles by 2011.
