Porsche has announced that they will present their Porsche Cayenne GTS on the IAA Motor Show next week! So we were wrong with our thoughts about a Porsche Coupé GT test mule, spotted at the Nordschleife earlier this week. The new SUV is meant to be the sportive version of the Cayenne. The car came 24 mm closer to the ground and is running on a 4.8 liter V8 under the hood, which is a bit stronger than his brothers. The engine produces 20bhp more than the Cayenne S and breaths out a nice 405 bhp and that with 3500 Nm of torque. If we forget the Cayenne Turbo than is this Cayenne the fastest Porsche SUV on the market the next years.
Thanks to this power increase the Cayenne GTS makes the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 6,1 seconds, or .05 seconds faster than the Cayenne S. Not bad for an ‘off road car’.
Because the GTS has not differences with the Turbo, Porsche decided to make two new colours special for the GTS which are GTS Red en Nordic Gold Metallic.
The GTS would be priced around € 105 000.
