Just when you thought it was impossible that even more manufacturers would jump on board to create special concepts for Gran Turismo 6, Mitsubishi has done just that with the release of the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo. As a result, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Subaru, Lexus, BMW and most recently Volkswagen, have revealed or at the very least, teased their upcoming Vision Gran Turismo concepts.

As the name suggests, the Mitsubishi Concept XR-PHEV Evolution Vision Gran Turismo is based on last year’s regular XR-PHEV concept. However in order to fit in-line with the outlandish precedence being set for the Vision Gran Turismo series of cars, Mitsubishi has set about making the XR-PHEV totally out of this world. In order to do this, they’ve added a more aggressive body kit along with a huge rear wing. Furthermore, the car features an in-your-face front fascia, massive 20-inch aluminium wheels and prominent side skirts.
