Automotive design student Mohammad Hossein Amini Yekta decided to step it up a notch for a first semester university project last year when he collaborated with Lamborghini to create the following design study of a car dubbed the Lamborghini Ganador.

The Lamborghini Ganador draws on inspiration from the wedge-shaped concept cars of yesteryear, such as the 1970 Lancia Stratos HF Zero and brings a very similar design well into the 21st century.

When discussing his impressive project, Mohammad Hossein Amini Yekta said, “The idea is very simple – designing a super sport, having in mind the design values of Lamborghini and at the same time keeping the simplicity while all the designs are going to be over complex.

“The overall design is more focused on being elegant rather than being sporty but at the same time tried to keep the aggressive look and uncompromising soul using some details like the tail lights which is hidden behind the blades in which when they are on, they give the feeling that a wild animal is trapped inside.”
