As well as the engine upgrades we speculated about, it also gets the close-ratio eight-speed transmission, uprated and lowered suspension and retuned steering. Essentially its the same car as the GT Speed, except the roof has been removed!<\/p>\n<p>Bentley are marketing the Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible as the fastest four seat convertible, and rightly so. It features a twin-turbocharged 6.0 liter W12 with 625hp produced at 6,000rpm and 800Nm of torque. That is enough for a 0-100km\/h of 4.4 seconds, to 60mph, the Bentley is 0.3 seconds faster.<\/p>\n\r\n<div class=\"ngg-galleryoverview\" id=\"ngg-gallery-6216-60692\">\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t<!-- transmission has intelligent adaptive control software for smoother changes and a fifteen percent increase in economy and CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n<p>Torsional stiffness of the chassis is an impressive 22,500 Nm\/degree. Suspension is an aluminium double-wishbone at the front and trapezoidal multi-link rear setup with revised air suspension springs and dampers. The ride is 10mm lower all round with a stiffer setup.<\/p>\n<p>The body changes include a large, elliptical exhaust tailpipes, a matrix radiator grille and bumper air intakes in a dark-tint chrome finish. The wheels are 21 inch Speed alloy wheels with ventilated brake discs measuring 405mm at the front and 355mm at the back.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, Mulliner Driving Specification comes as standard as well as a number of signature Speed design cues that combine contemporary luxury with a distinctly sporting character.
