The pictures show both <a href=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/2012\/09\/18\/official-mclaren-p1-design-study\/\">the upcoming P1<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/tag\/mclaren-f1\">the historical F1<\/a> in one single shot. The images differ with regards to the colors used on the supercar duo. The release of the renders follows our McLaren F1 photo day on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/gtspirit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our Facebook page<\/a> today and the <a href=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/2012\/09\/18\/official-mclaren-p1-design-study\/\">official release of the McLaren P1<\/a> two days ago.<\/p>\n<p>The McLaren P1\u2032s design bears a similarity to McLaren&#8217;s previous designs. The overall shape has hints of the MP4-12C with the rear central exhaust and the layout of the rear facia. However, it\u2019s obviously a more extreme design with an aggressive layered diffuser, front air intakes that remind us of the Aston Martin One-77 and a set of headlights that look visually similar to the McLaren Automotive logo.<\/p>\r\n<div class=\"ngg-galleryoverview\" id=\"ngg-gallery-5364-56739\">\r\n\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t<!-- Thumbnails -->\r\n\t\t\r\n\t<div id=\"ngg-image-65924\"
