With an output of 320 kW of all-electric power, the e-tron Sportback is capable of reaching 500 kilometers on a single charge. <\/p>\n<p>Rupert Stadler, Chairman of the Board of Management of AUDI AG, confirmed: \u201cOur Audi e-tron will be starting out in 2018 \u2013 the first electric car in its competitive field that is fit for everyday use. With a range of over 500 kilometers (310.7 miles) and the special electric driving experience, we will make this sporty SUV the must-have product of the next decade. Following close on its heels, in 2019, comes the production version of the Audi e-tron Sportback \u2013 an emotional coup\u00e9 version that is thrillingly identifiable as an electric car at the very of what Audi&#8217;s first all-electric production model will look like. Bright OLED lights, a light and sharp design and an interior that is oriented at the driver and passengers more than ever.<\/p>\n<p>The 320 kW electric motor configuration is as follows: one motor at the front axle, and two motors mounted at the rear axle of the vehicle powering all four wheels. Underpinned by a 95 kWh battery, the electric crossover should be able to 0-100 km\/h in just 4.5 seconds in &#8216;boost mode&#8217;, where it extracts as much as 370 kW from the large battery pack. <\/p>\n<p>2018 more and more seems to become the year in which we can expect electric mobility to stir up the automotive industry even more.
