While it remains to be seen if the relaunched <a href=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/category\/tv-dvd\/top-gear\/\">Top Gear<\/a> will prove popular, the new lead host has revealed that it will adopt an entirely new format.<\/p>\n<p>While speaking with the Top Gear website recently, Evans said that the new Top Gear won&#8217;t have three presenters like it used to. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are going to do things differently, because we have to, we want to. The second you wander off into the \u2018Well I\u2019m the main host, and this is my mate over here and my mate over here\u2019\u2026 if there\u2019s three of you, and you go and make a film together, suddenly you\u2019re doing what they did. Why would you do\u00a0that? Because they were brilliant at it, I\u2019m not going to do that. One thing is for sure, there\u2019s not going to be me and one guy there, and one guy there. That\u2019s not going to\u00a0happen.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Evans also said that alongside the new team for Top Gear TV, the studio format is expected to be ditched. While Evans remained coy on specifics, it&#8217;s clear that Top Gear won&#8217;t be like it used to be.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to change\u00a0that [the format]. I can\u2019t tell you into what. I know, by the way, but I can\u2019t say at the\u00a0moment. We\u00a0are going to keep some things that I like, and my kids like, and my friends like, and that\u00a0I liked anyway.
