Mercedes-Benz tuning specialists Weistec has just announced that it will be entering two Mercedes-AMG GT3 cars into the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge series.<\/p>\n

While Weistec has yet to announce its drivers, its experience with Mercedes-AMG cars is immense. It is particularly well-versed with the German company\u2019s 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine which of course powers the AMG GT3 race car.<\/p>\n

Discussing its entries, Weistec\u2019s technical director Michael Weiss said \u201cAt Weistec we develop performance in every part and our innovations not only prove themselves in a laboratory, but on the race track as well. Weistec has already set numerous world records utilizing the same 6.3-liter engine that propels the new GT3 car and we are excited to bring our expertise to the Pirelli World Challenge. Our passion for innovation is as strong as our customers\u2019 desire for the finest in vehicle performance.\u201d<\/p>\r\n
