For the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, Carlsson has unveiled its CC63S Rivage based around the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. The car gets its name from the ‘Rivage’ corner at the famous Spa Franchorchamps circuit in Belgium.

On an engine standpoint, Carlsson has worked its magic on the German super sedan’s twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8. As a matter of fact, horsepower has been bumped from the standard 503 hp up to 605 hp as well as 820 Nm of torque, 100 Nm over the standard model. Thanks to these modifications and when mated with the company’s dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels, Carlsson’s CC63S Rivage reaches 100 km/h in a brisk 3.8 seconds.

Further distinguishing Carlsson’s latest creation from the standard Mercedes-AMG C63 S are a selection of carbon fibre components. They consist of a new front splitter with head-turning lateral boundary flaps. Meanwhile, the front air intake has been modified as have a set of subtle canards on both sides of the bumper.
