The car celebrates Ferrari\u2019s 60th anniversary with Pininfarina.<\/p>\n<p>Back at the start of <a href=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/2014\/09\/01\/is-this-the-production-spec-pininfarina-sergio\/\" title=\"Is This The Production-Spec Pininfarina Sergio?\">September<\/a>, renderings leaked reportedly showing the production-spec Pininfarina Sergio. At the time, it wasn\u2019t entirely known if the car was indeed heading to production but as it turns out, those renderings were completely accurate. Additionally, the interesting decklid of the original concept has been modified but is equally as high-catching. Elsewhere, the headlights and taillights have been are brand new for the production car.<\/p>\n<p>The Sergio is based around the Ferrari 458 Spider but uses the more powerful engine from the 458 Speciale A. This engine displaces 4.5-litres from its screaming, naturally-aspirated eight cylinders and consequently pumps out 597 hp which is enough to send the special Sergio model to 100 km\/h in a mere three seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Because the car is based around the 458 Spider, the interior has gone essentially unchanged.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/gtspiritmedia.com\/gtspirit\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gtspiritmedia.com\/gtspirit\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1-696x385.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"ferrari-sergio-3 (1)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-112114\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1-768x433.jpg 768w, https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1-1068x602.jpg 1068w, https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/ferrari-sergio-3-1.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The very first example has been delivered to the SBH Royal Auto Gallery in the UAE and has a three-layer red exterior as well as black leather and red contrast stitching throughout the interior.
