As a result of this, the car slammed into a concrete barrier at the end of the runway presumably killing the driver immediately on impact.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/gtspiritmedia.com\/gtspirit\/uploads\/2014\/09\/430612.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"430612\" width=\"640\" height=\"380\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-107038\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/430612.jpg 640w, https:\/\/gtspirit.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/430612-300x178.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, following the impact, the airbags failed to deploy with the Japanese sports car absolutely destroyed following the high speed impact.
