Given how limited the production numbers of the McLaren P1 hypercar were, it is surprising to see how many of the 375 that left the Woking factory are for sale around the world. Here we have yet another example being offered in the United Kingdom from McLaren Ascot. Many owners opted to spec their cars in the launch color, Volcano Orange, this example is not one of those and has been finished in a custom MSO colour named Kilo Grey that is far more subtle. Carbon fiber features heavily, the lightweight material has been applied by McLaren Special Operations to the instrument cluster, vent bezels, rear clam Inserts, door mirrors, front bumper, rear wing, exit ducts, side skirts, front splitter diffuser and snorkel.

The specification is extensive and includes polished brake callipers, Meridian Surround Sound System, car cover, Stealth Pack and Stealth Badges, parking sensors, wheels in stealth matte finish, fire extinguisher, branded floor mats and tracker making it one of the most heavily optioned P1s. The cost for all of this carbon and metal goodness? £1.7million, only a few thousand pounds short of doubling the base price of the P1 when launched!

As a reminder the 3.8 litre twin-turbo V8 and electric motor in the P1 combine to a total output of 903 bhp. The P1 weighs in at just 1,547 kg and manages a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds with an electronically limited to a top speed of 350 km/h (220 mph).
