These days there seem to be road legal McLaren P1 GTR’s popping up everywhere in the Netherlands, with now this black-on-black example that recently hit the market.

A while back we wrote about this road legal McLaren P1 GTR, also offered for sale in the Netherlands. The P1 GTR is the more brutal track-oriented version of the hybrid hypercar, one of the rarest currently on the market. The P1-based track toys are even more limited than the regular P1 and were only offered to customers that already owned a McLaren P1.

The 900 hp+ hypercar is only meant for track-use in factory condition, until British company Lanzante Motorsport got approval from McLaren to convert P1 GTRs for road use. It’s unclear how many GTR’s went through the Lanzante workshop so far, but we know of at least five examples that underwent the conversion.

As early as a year ago one of the first popped up in Italy with an insane asking price of $7.2 million. We recently came across this blue one in the Netherlands with a $3.5 million price tag, and now this black example for a cool $4.3 million. Which one would have your preference? The blue or the black McLaren P1 GTR?
