Fiat have officially confirmed UK pricing details for the 2016 Abarth 124 Spider.
In the UK, Fiat’s range-topping Abarth Spider will set you back £29,565 for the manual transmission model. The automatic transmission model is slightly more expensive at £31,605.
Under the hood of the new Italian roadster we find a 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with FCA’s Multiair valve timing system that is capable of producing 170 hp.
Included with the Classica styling pack are 16-inch alloy wheels, twin-exhaust pipes, halogen headlights, LED taillights, and body-colored door handles and side sills. The more premium Lusso styling pack features larger 17-inch wheels, silver A-pillars and roll bar covers, chrome dual exhausts, leather upholstery and piano black accents throughout the car’s interior.
Compared to the standard Spider, the Abarth verions offers drivers an additional 5 horsepower. The Abarth also comes with a mechanical limited-slip differential, Bilstein shocks, a front strut tower bar, 17-inch gun metal alloy wheels, a dynamic drive selector and a finetuned sports exhaust system.
Five color options will be made available on the Abarth Spider: “Turini 1975 White”, “Costa Brava 1972 Red”, metallic “Isola d’Elba 1974 Blue”, “Portogallo 1974 Grey” and “San Marino 1972 Black”.
