Lotus has officially revealed a special edition version of the Evora called the Evora 400 Hethel Edition.

The car was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s Hethel factory in Norfolk. In order to commemorate the factory’s 50 years in business, Lotus is offering the Hethel edition Evora in three historic Lotus colors.

Customers can order their Hethel Edition in either Motorsport Black, Racing Green and Essex Blue. In addition to the three exclusive paint colors, the Hethel also includes silver forged alloy stripe graphics along the side of the car between the wheel wells.

The Evora 400 Hethel Edition will come packed with 400 horsepower supercharged V6 engine. From a standstill, the Hethel will reach 60 mph in 4.1 seconds on the way to a top speed of 186 mph.

Pricing starts at £75,500 or about £3,500 over a standard Evora 400.

  1. Lotus certainly have a penchant for ‘special editions’ especially on the Elise model

Am looking forward to when Lotus eventually have the Evora open version.

The evora’s shapes and lines are well suited to an open version and it would certainly make a very good stylish option to the category of competition that the evora sits in
