One of FAB Design’s biggest releases for the Geneva Motor Show 2016 is the FAB Design Mercedes-AMG GT S AREION. The AREION follows on from where the popular SLR-based DESIRE left off. We took a closer look at the show car on display in Geneva!
The FAB Design features a distinctive wide body kit. The front bumper is wider and more aggressive with wide body fender flares and distinctive air vents that act as ventilation for the engine compartment. The muscular feel continues along the sculpted side skirts.
Thing are just as serious at the widebody rear. The shapely rear bumper and the complex styled diffusor put the complete rear view into the spotlight. The rear wing is a clear standout feature and is typical FAB Design. FAB have designed their own wheels for the AREION. The new forged 3-piece FAB Design EVOLUTION III wheels 9,5×20 and 11×21 with a deep concave design.
In addition to the bulging body, the engineers of FAB Design developed a new intake section, optimum control unit configuration, a more efficiency exhaust system and bigger turbochargers. The V8-Biturbo engine produces 700 hp and a maximum torque of 1025 Nm with similar improvements in performance.
