On the back of the BMW M2’s recently online debut, the German marque has released images and details of its selection of M Performance parts for the car. Set to debut at SEMA 2015, the parts are primarily visual but do serve some aerodynamic benefit to the car.

Starting at the front, the first M Performance part offered for the M2 is the gloss black kidney grille which we think is a must-have for any prospective M2 owners. Moving towards the sides, the car includes interesting carbon fibre side skirt flics towards the rear as well as carbon fibre air vents on both of the front quarter panels.

Completing the exterior upgrades are carbon fibre wing mirror caps, a small carbon fiber bootlid lip spoiler and a carbon fibre rear diffuser. The show car has also been outfitted with a livery of BMW M’s famous colours; light blue, royal blue and red. On a performance front, there is a stainless steel exhaust system with butterfly valves.

Inside, a thicker steering wheel bathed in alcantara takes pride of place. There are also stainless steel pedals and a range of new carbon fibre trim, most notable on the centre console and gear selector.
