Video: Porsche Macan GTS Stars in Official Clip

On the back of the 2016 Porsche Macan GTS’s debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, the official video for the car has been released. Designed to sit between the Macan S and Macan Turbo, the GTS promises to be the perfect medium between performance and luxury.

Powering the Macan GTS is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine delivering 360 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. That engine is coupled to a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission driving all four wheels and accelerating the Macan GTS from naught to 96 km/h in a brisk 4.8 seconds and when optioned with the Sport Chrono Package, a 255 km/h top speed.

The new Macan GTS has been outfitted with an advanced air suspension system complete with Porsche Active Suspension Management which allows the driver to easily adjust both the vehicle’s ride height and the stiffness of the damper. Interestingly, the Macan GTS is able to sit 10-15 mm lower than the Macan Turbo. Elsewhere, performance SUV has been installed with high-performance brakes including red brake calipers clamping down on 360 mm discs at the front and 330 mm at the rear.
