Monaco truly is the playground for the rich and the famous and is therefore home to some very wealthy car owners. Among them is current Williams Formula One driver Felipe Massa who’s black and red Ferrari LaFerrari has previously been snapped on the streets of the small country on the French Riviera.

Thanks to its combination of red and black components, Massa’s LaFerrari is unlike any other. Now it has emerged that the former Ferrari F1 driver also owns a rare a truly iconic Ferrari F40 with it recently photographed in Monaco.

As the image shows, Massa’s F40 is essentially identical to all others. That means it is painted in the Italian company’s traditional shade of Rosso Corsa and rolls on a set of silver five-spoke star-shaped wheels.

Beneath the skin, the F40 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre V8 engine producing 471 hp. Prior to the launch of the Ferrari 488 GTB, the F40 was the company’s last mid-engined turbocharged car.
