Just after N-Performance previewed its upcoming tuning kit for the potent BMW M2, tuning company Manhart Racing has followed suit. The company claims that its modified M2 will be the successor to its potent 430 hp BMW M235i revealed a couple of years ago.

From a visual standpoint, the Manhart BMW M2 can be clearly distinguished from the stock M2. The most noticeable modifications are the carbon fibre bonnet, the new splitter, carbon front air intake surrounds, twin six-spoke matte black wheels and the lowered suspension. The car has also been rendered in yellow and there’s a chance that when it arrives, Manhart’s M2 will indeed be painted just like this.

While Manhart hasn’t offered technical specifications about its M2 project, the fact that it will be a replacement to its M235i is promising to say the least. As mentioned, Manhart’s M235i pumps out 430 hp so it is inevitable that the M2 will be even more powerful, potentially in excess of 450 hp.

Expect the car to be revealed sometime next year.
