In a horrendous incident of road rage, a Ford Mustang driver shot at a woman driving a yellow Corvette five times on the U.S. Highway 78, injuring her critically.

The victim, Angelina Christiano, was driving her Corvette in the center lane on the highway near Mountain Industrial Blvd. at around 1.30 pm last Wednesday when a black Mustang started to tailgate her. She motioned the driver to pass her but after some kind of an argument, he fired five shots at her before exiting the highway. One of the shots hit Christiano in the upper back and according to latest reports, the 44-year-old is said to be in a serious condition.

“She motioned for that vehicle to go around her because he was following so closely,” said DeKalb County Police Department Major Stephen Fore. “As they approached Mountain Industrial, the Ford Mustang began to exit and the driver fired several rounds at the back of the Corvette.”

Christiano was traveling with her 25-year-old son, who escaped unhurt. The authorities are still on the hunt for the shooter. They have been unable to get hold of any eyewitness and neither do they know the number plate of the Mustang.
