For this year’s annual Neiman Marcus Christmas catalogue the special 700 hp Ford Mustang Convertible Neiman Marcus Edition has been introduced. Strictly limited to just 100 units, the car incorporates a number of features to distinguish it from a run-of-the-mill Mustang drop-top.
For starters, the Mustang GT’s 5.0-litre V8 engine has been fitted with a custom supercharger helping to lift power from 435 hp all the way to 700 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. When mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, the Mustang Convertible Neiman Marcus Edition is said to accelerate to 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reach a 314 km/h top speed. It will also return 15.7 l/100 km (15 mpg) on the highway and 9.4 l/100 km (25 mpg) in the city.

Elsewhere, the Mustang Neiman Marcus includes side-exiting Magnaflow exhausts, long-tube headers, Brembo brake calipers with Hawk Performance brake pads and sticky Nitto NT05 tyres. Other key upgrades include the fitment of new racing suspension with custom sway bars and 20-inch Grip Equipped wheels.
Visually, the car comes complete with modified wing mirrors, a Lexan windshield and side windows, heat extractor hood vents and a front splitter, rear decklid spoiler and tonneau cover made from carbon fibre. Inside one will find a numbered plaque, lightweight racing seats, carbon fibre trim, Neiman Marcus illuminated door sill plates as well as NM embroidered headrests and floormats.
