While the stock fifth-generation BMW M3 is already a menacing car that ticks the right boxes in both performance and visual segments, American-based tuner IND has made one even special by giving it a set of modifications.

For starters, there’s fully carbon-fiber aero kit from 3DDesign, which includes a new lip spoiler, rear diffuser, side-skirt set and a trunk spoiler. Add to that, inside the cabin, there’s carbon fibre on the DCT knob and around it, a new M Performance steering wheel and M Performance carbon fiber e-brake handle. A new exhaust with titanium tips enhance the appearance of the F80 M3 and there’s also been an OEM LCI taillight conversion. The HRE rims come with the configuration of 20×9.5 in the front and 20×11.5 at the rear. The changes wouldn’t be complete without a KW Varaint 3 kit for improved handling.

Meanwhile, there’s been no change to the mechanical specifications. This means that the twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-six engine generates 431 hp and 550 Nm of torque. Since this M3 has the optional DCT gearbox, it has a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 3.9 seconds. The seven-speed manual gearbox helps cover the same distance in 4.1 seconds. Top speed stands at 250 km/h.

Nonetheless, the changes on the M3 aren’t tacky and look very cool on the vehicle. They make it more sporty and pave the way for the owner to increment the performance figures the next time he plans some modifications.
