A unique house located in Port Douglas in Australia’s tropical north and dubbed ‘The Edge’ is currently up for sale for $6.5 million. While it certainly isn’t the most expensive house we’ve featured before, it is definitely amongst the most eye-catching.
The property was named the Building of the Year at the 2015 Far North Queensland Regional Architecture Awards and was designed by architect Charles Wright. It is located on an exclusive hill in Port Douglas, provides sensational views of the nearby four mile beach and perfectly combines outdoor and indoor living spaces.
The Edge features two bedrooms and four bathrooms but for what it lacks in size it certainly makes up for in its design. Most of the interior is completely open with the dining, kitchen and living areas all located in a single room overlooking the ocean. At the very edge of the house is a 10-metre infinity pool unlike any other we’ve laid eyes on.
