The Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos hotel in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico has just reopened its doors after being closed following last year’s Hurricane Odile. When the hotel was closed, Hyatt took the opportunity to upgrade and improve it.

The new and improved Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos features 591 suites as well as 34 swim-up and exceptionally luxurious swim-up suites. Now, the hotel includes a large Mexican Plaza with dining and entertainment facilities including an authentic Tequila bar. Elsewhere, a new Italian restaurant has been constructed while there is also now a large Sports Bar complete with 16 40-inch HDTVs with access to all major sports networks.

Additionally, the Asian restaurant at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos has been expanded and now incorporates a separate Sushi Bar and Teppanyaki Grill. There are now also two new international buffet restaurants, a kids club featuring a small water park and tree house as well as a Club Lounge for Hyatt Gold Passport members.

Discussing the reopening, senior vice president of all inclusive operations for Hyatt, Carlos Cabrera said “We are delighted to celebrate the reopening of Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos in such a vibrant destination and community. The resort transformation has been spectacular and true to offering a distinctive all inclusive experiences for guests of all ages.
