This year is looking likely to become the best ever for Jaguar Land Rover with a new sales record all but confirmed.

While talking at the ongoing IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015, the company’s chief executive Ralf Speth said that this year, Jaguar Land Rover will exceed 500,000 sales. That will be a significant jump over the 232,839 models sold by both Jaguar and Land Rover in 2010, reiterating the company’s rising popularity since Tata purchased the brands in 2008.

This year already, Jaguar has revealed two brand new models which are set to become its two highest selling cars; the Jaguar XE and Jaguar F-Pace. Additionally, the latest-generation XF sedan was recently revealed while the F-Type sports car continues to sell well.
