A prototype of the brand new Alfa Romeo Giulia QV has been spied in the midst of testing in the United States.
While the Giulia QV has already being revealed online by the Italian marque, this is the first time it has been seen testing in the U.S. This is crucially important as the Giulia sedan will become Alfa Romeo’s second model to reach U.S. shores as part of its global relaunch, following on from the 4C sports car. It seems inevitable that this test mule is testing a number of U.S. specific features beneath the heavy camouflage.
According to recent reports, the Alfa Romeo Giulia QV recently lapping the Nurburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 43 seconds, putting it nine seconds ahead of the BMW M4. The car of course receives its drive from a Ferrari-derived twin-turbocharged 2.9-litre six-cylinder engine delivering 503 hp, the same as the Mercedes-AMG C63 S.
Spied by whom, where?
