Hyatt Hotels Corporation has opened a new branch of its Hyatt Place hotels, in Buffalo, New York. This is the first Hyatt Place in Western New York and is situated in the highly respectable suburb of Amherst. The hotel features the Hyatt Place brand’s trademark contemporary and intuitive design along with several practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi throughout the building and 24-hour food offerings.
The Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst is central to all of Buffalo’s major attractions. It is located around 8 km from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and two of Buffalo’s largest malls are in close vicinity as well. Moreover, the world-famous Niagara Falls is a 20-minute drive from the hotel. In addition to that, the Ralph Wilson Stadium (home of NFL’s Buffalo Bills), the Aquarium of Niagara, the Buffalo Zoological Gardens and the Six Flags Darien Lake are all close by.
Inside the hotel, there are 137 rooms. Guests get a 42-inch TV, complimentary breakfast, free airport shuttle and 24-hour gym services. The bar serves specialty coffees and premium alcoholic drinks.
“As Buffalo continues to grow and thrive economically, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the first Hyatt Place hotel to the area,” said General Manager of the hotel, David Zeplowitz. “With our smartly designed social spaces and guestrooms with separate areas to work and sleep, Hyatt Place Buffalo/Amherst offers multitasking travelers the room they need to spread out, and our free hot breakfast is just the thing to get our guests going in the morning.”
