Expected to sell for between 2 million and 2.4 million pounds, a 1973 Ferrari 265 GTB/4 Daytona Spider by Scaglietti will be sold on September 7 by RM Sotheby’s.

Reportedly one of the most original in existence, this Ferrari Daytona Spider is also one of the lowest mileage examples having travelled just 3085 miles from new. It is also the only finished in the Marrone Colorado and Beige Scuro colour scheme, is Ferrari Classiche certified, offered with a complete set of manuals and matching numbers.

Chassis 17013, it was the 105th of just 121 examples ever produced and has been fitted with air conditioning and a radio, two components which were optional. It has spent most of its life in North America but spent a few years in Europe before arriving back in the United States in 2005.
