The one-off Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa by Zagato was recently snapped at a car event in the Netherlands. As the only one of its kind in the world, seeing the Zagato’s TZ3 Corsa anywhere apart from a museum is amazing.
The car was originally unveiled at the Villa d’Este concours in Italy back in 2010 where it walked away with the award for the best concept car. Created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Alfa Romeo, the TZ3 Corsa is based around the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione but features a completely bespoke body.
Due to its underpinnings, the TZ3 Corsa is powered by a V8 engine mated to a six-speed sequential transmission driving the rear wheels. Rather incredibly, thanks to the new carbon fibre body of the TZ3 Corsa, it weighs a mere 850 kg. It can therefore rocket to 100 km/h in less than 3.5 seconds and a top speed exceeding 300 km/h.
