RM Sotheby’s ‘The Pinnacle Portfolio’ has easily broken the record as the most value single car collection ever sold at auction with the fleet fetching a total of $67 million. That comes despite the fact that three of the auctions most valuable models weren’t sold after failing to reach their reserve prices.

A 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Competizione received a high bid of $13.25 million but that fell short of the reserve. Similarly, a Ferrari 250 GT LWB California Spider was passed in for $8 million while the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Alloy tipped to sell for over around $6 million also failed to meet its reserve.
