IndyCar Driver Graham Rahal Acquires New Porsche 918 Spyder

If you’re a keen follower of motorsport, there’s a good chance you’ve heard the age-old-adage that racing car drivers – particularly those in the top-tiers of motorsport – don’t find road cars entertaining. While that is certainly true in some instances, there are many racing drivers whose passion for cars extend beyond the racetrack and onto the street. IndyCar competitor Graham Rahal is one of them.

Just 26 years old, Rahal has competed in no less than 116 IndyCar races and has two race victories to his name. Recently, he just took delivery of his custom Porsche 918 Spyder and it is certainly one of the boldest examples we’ve ever laid eyes on.

Green Porsche 918 Spyder

For starters, it is painted in bright green and has been installed with the optional Weissach aerodynamics package. As a result, it features a clear-coated carbon fibre roof, carbon rear wing and front splitter as well as additional carbon fins on the rear bumper. As soon as the 918 was delivered, Rahal had it installed with a set of custom HRE wheels to make it even more extraordinary!
