Baby Jaguar F-Pace to be Produced in Austria

Baby Jaguar F-Pace to be produced in Austria

It has emerged that the upcoming baby Jaguar F-Pace should be produced in Austria thanks to a new collaboration between Jaguar Land Rover and Austrian manufacturing company Magna Steyr.

While details about the British firm’s second SUV are limited, it will sit below the upcoming F-Pace in the Jaguar line-up. It will also be smaller and undercut the Range Rover Evoque and could be dubbed the E-Pace. Whatever it is named, it’s almost certain that it won’t be produced at any of the marque’s UK factories.

Discussing the partnership, president of Magna Steyr said “The partnership with Jaguar Land Rover brings a new customer to our Graz plant. As always, we will work with our fullest commitment and dedication to ensure that we meet our customer’s high expectations.”

The collaboration comes as part of Jaguar Land Rover’s ambitious expansion with hopes of doubling its customer deliveries within five years.
