As one of the world’s leading luxury automakers, it is little surprise that Mercedes-Benz turned out in force at this weekend’s Goodwood Festival of Speed 2015. The German marque brought a host of its newest and most capable cars to the event.
Certainly the most impressive Mercedes-Benz vehicles at Goodwood this year were the seven 300 SLRs which were in attendance. Unsurprisingly regarded as one of the world’s finest racing cars, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR was particularly made famous by Stirling Moss winning the 1955 Mille Miglia in.
Elsewhere at Goodwood on a motorsport front included a Mercedes-AMG GT3 as well as the obligatory Formula One car.
Road-going highlights included the latest Mercedes-AMG C63, S-Class Coupe, AMG GT, and the beastly G500 4×4. Goodwood also marked the worldwide debut of the facelifted 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class range with the refreshed and tweaked A45 hitting the famous hill climb during the weekend.
