While it remains unclear just when the entry-level Tesla Model 3 will be revealed, Theophilus Chin has tried his hand at rendering the car.
Due to the fact that the impending Model X SUV will feature many design elements reminiscent of the existing Tesla Model S, it can be reasonably assumed the Model 3 will as well. With that in mind, the Model 3 rendered incorporates a number of characteristic Tesla traits. For example, it includes aluminium accents, door handles which collapse into the doors as well as a gloss black front grille combined with chrome accents.
The Tesla Model 3 is pencilled in for a debut in 2016 before sales open up for the car the following year. It is expected to ride on a brand new platform rather than the larger one underpinning the Model S and future Model X SUV.
It is believed that the Model 3 will be offered in a selection of different variants with a sedan potentially one of them.
