This pristine 1983 DeLorean is available from German restoration specialists V8 Werk at their showroom in Altenberg OT Bärenstein, near Dresden, for 56,900 euros.
V8 Werk says it is “One of the very rare DeLorean DMC-12” in superb condition with more than 15,000 euros invested in parts over the past two years, in the United States and Germany.
The car, which shows only 13,183 miles, has a 174 CID V6 engine in good condition producing about 132 hp, and five-speed manual transmission. It was one of the last of about 9,000 built and the original registration papers are available.
Finished in brushed silver stainless steel panels, with standard grey interior, it has had new seals for the gullwing doors, numerous stainless steel details in the engine compartment and a stainless steel exhaust system and manifold.
It has adjustable suspension, a chassis front upgrade, new tyres on 14 and 15 inch alloy wheels, new braking system, and new air conditioning compressor (conversion to R134).
The DeLorean is available in V8 Werk’s showroom in 01773 Altenberg OT Bärenstein, near Dresden, conveniently accessible via the A17. The specialists also offer to find you your dream car in the US, organise transport, import and convert to be German street legal.
