Lexus LF-SA Concept Photos Emerge Ahead of Geneva Debut

    Lexus LF-SA Concept

If this aggressive-looking hatch with its scything wheels had been available a few years earlier, the whizzy Toyota iQ might not have been the embarassing choice to evolve into the Aston Martin Cygnet carbon-offset special – although the Aston grille might have been tricky.

These are the first pictures of the sexy Lexus LF-SA concept leaked to the web ahead of its official launch in the next few days at the Geneva Motor Show.

Small but aggressive, like a Ford Ka with seriously bad attitude, the LF-SA concept is a three-door hatchback with a dramatic grille evolved from that of the IS200, flanked by slim LED headlights. Shame to spoil it with EU number plates!

In an interesting take reflecting the tone of Infiniti’s QX30 Concept also being launched at the show, the car has muscular front wings, that distinctive wheel-and-tyre combination, and a unique tailgate with integrated rear spoiler in the style of the Honda Civic’s.

The angular styling continues in the sculpted cabin with metallic accents on the sporty steering wheel and tactile surfaces extending to the centre console. Obviously driver-focused, the cockpit suggests paddle gearshifts and head-up display.
