Marauder GT S Concept Boat Inspired by Mercedes-AMG GT

Cigarette World Champion Racing Team has launched a new boat inspired by the new Mercedes-AMG GT S sportscar. Named the Marauder GT S Concept Boat, it’s their newest V-Deep boat in the 50-feet category. Often known as the The American Offshore Legend, Cigarette Racing has in the past built boats inspired by the Mercedes-AMG sportscars.

In 2010 they launched a 46-foot boat inspired by the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and four years later they launched another boat inspired by the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive.

The new Marauder GT S Concept Boat is finished in the famous solar beam yellow colour offered in Mercedes-Benz AMG models. The boat is scheduled to make its official debut at the Miami International Boat Show which starts today and will be shown alongside the new Mercedes-AMG GT car to reflect their long-standing cooperation.

At the heart of the new Marauder GT S Concept Boat is the most powerful production twin engine produced by Cigarette Racing. Other features on the boat include black accent highlights such as those used on the Edition 1 models of the Mercedes-AMG GT S.

The incarnation of the Mercedes-AMG GT in the new Marauder GT S Concept Boat can be seen through many aspects including performance – the boat is capable of achieving a top speed of more than 135 mph. The Mercedes-AMG GT, on the other hand, has already proven its worthiness in the sportscar market and is expected to go on sale later this year.

To refresh your memories, the Mercedes-AMG GT is the second car fully developed by AMG after the SLS AMG. It’s powered by a newly developed AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, which will soon be offered in the C63 AMG. It will come in two versions, the base AMG GT with 462 hp and a more powerful AMG GT S with 510 hp. The AMG GT S will be available from next month while the base AMG GT will follow towards the end of this year.
