Recently it emerged that that M variants of both the BMW X3 and BMW X4 SUVs are in the works. As a result, X-Tomi Design has decided to render what the BMW X3 M could look like when it inevitably reaches the market and if the car were to look like the one featured, it could prove a raging success and a tempting alternative to the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG.
Compared to the standard X3, the car rendered features brand new bumpers at the front and rear. Additionally, a blacked out kidney grille is featured alongside reshaped air intakes. Elsewhere, new M wheels have been installed alongside extended side skirts while the rear is topped off with traditional quad tailpipes.
While neither the X3 M or X4 M have been confirmed for production, BMW M boss Frank van Meel recently announced to Autocar that there’s a potential business opportunity for such models.
