The first spy images of the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe have been released before the car is released later this year.
While covered in heavy camouflage, it is immediately apparent that the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will feature a sportier front fascia along with Mercedes’ signature single-bar grill. More aggressive headlights and larger front air intakes complete the sportier look.
In keeping with Mercedes corporate styling, the rear of the C-Class Coupe seems to draw much of its inspiration from the rear-end of the new S-Class Coupe. An integrated rear spoiler gives way to thin, sophisticated tail lights and an angled trunk. Interior styling carries over from the standard C-Class sedan, with a three-spoke steering wheel and free-standing infotainment system.
As with previous generations of the C-Class Coupe, engine options are expected to carry over from the C-Class sedan. Engine options include a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 329 bhp or a smaller, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 241 bhp.
The new C-Class Coupe should be introduced to the world later this year. Mercedes has not released an official date for the reveal as of yet, so keep your eyes here for the latest news!
