The official ordering guide for the Ford Shelby GT350R Mustang and GT350 models has leaked alone just after the GT350R was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show 2015.
Starting with what we already know, both the new Shelby GT350R Mustang and GT350 mustang feature a 5.2-litre V8 engine with a flat-plane crank. Braking is then supplied by 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston calipers alongside a Torsen differential and a six-speed manual transmission.
As for the Mustang GT350, it can be optioned with the Track Package. That package includes MagneRide suspension, new engine oil, transmission and differential coolers as well as heavy-duty front springs and a lightweight tower-to-tower brace in the engine bay.
By comparison, the Mustang GT350R is available with the ‘R Package’. That package includes carbon ceramic brake discs at the front, special chassis tuning, a front splitter, aluminium rear bumper beam and a wheel locking kit. Additionally, the ‘R Package’ also sees the rear seats, floor mats, tyre mobility kit, infotainment systems and air conditioning removed.
Elsewhere, the Mustang GT350 duo will be available in an exclusive colour dubbed Avalanche Gray while Recaro sport seats will also come standard.
