Cars like the Lamborghini Aventador only really come around every few decades. Ever since the Italian firm launched its new halo supercar in 2011, the automotive world has been fixated by the Aventador even though by all accounts, it isn’t as capable or as good to drive as some of its rivals. So what makes the Aventador so popular?
It is of course the outlandish and charismatically over-the-top Lamborghini styling and the screaming V12. Drawing on the Lamborghini Reventon and Sesto Elemento for styling inspiration, the Aventador makes use of much sharper lines than the Murcielago which it replaced. Here we have a particularly nice example currently residing in Qatar and fitted with a number of aftermarket parts and expertly photographed by Anas Akkawi.
