2015 Mustang RTR

The latest teaser of the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR has just been released before the potent American muscle car debuts at SEMA 2014 early next week. After its public debut, the Mustang GTR will hit the market in January of next year.

Unlike the current Mustang RTR which is only available in North America, the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR will be available to Mustang customers around the world. This is because Ford took the decision to make the latest-generation Mustang a truly global muscle car and as a result, also decided to make it available in right-hand drive from the factory for the very first time.

As this latest teaser image shows, the 2015 Mustang RTR adopts a plethora of visual and aerodynamic upgrades at the front. For example, it features a new bonnet with a power dome, a revised splitter as well as new grilles and an RTR badge.

Previous teaser images have also shown the rear will adopt a new diffuser, a prominent bootlid lip spoiler, a new bumper as well as dual exiting tailpipes. Additionally, a diffuser mounted reversing light will be installed onto the new Mustang RTR.

Just like the outgoing RTR, the new model will be designed by Vaughn Gitten Motorsport.
