The potent British made Sin R1 sports car has just hit the market locally and is priced at 72,000 pounds.
While the Sin R1 has yet to be revealed in production-spec, it will be produced in the U.K. and comes thanks to Sin Cars as well as ProFormance Metals, a British supplier. Alongside the R1 hitting the market which is street legal, the racing variant dubbed the R1 GTB costs 110,000 pounds and includes a custom chassis and special bodywork.
Powered by a 444 hp Chevrolet V8 engine and tipping the scales at just 1100 kg, it is claimed that the Sin R1 will be capable of hitting a top speed of 270 km/h. It will also feature 19-inch wheels, 363 mm disc brakes and a Formula One style fuel tank. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a paddle shift ‘box set to be offered in the future. As a result, it should hit 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
