Porsche 911 GT3

With a top speed of 315 km/h, the 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 is no slouch. However, top speed isn’t what the GT3 is about. It is about acceleration but most importantly, incredible handing and driver involvement. We know that the car ticks these boxes nicely but as it turns out, it is also considerably faster than Porsche claims.

The following video has emerged of a 911 GT3 hitting a truly incredible top speed of 334 km/h once fitted with an aftermarket iPE Innotech exhaust system. Amazingly, the car was only sitting on 8100 rpm in seventh gear when that speed was recorded meaning it had 900 rpm room to breathe!

Admittadely, it is hard to say by just how much the speedo on this example is out by. Additionally, an aftermarket exhaust would provide very little impact on top speed.
